Cardi B has never been one to stay silent, and now Offset seems to be following her lead. Although, in his case, it was more his fingers doing the talking last night. While Cardi B was live on Instagram, she started venting about their relationship, focusing more on Offset than the actual divorce. She claimed Offset had been making threats, saying he wanted to take things back.

Here’s what Cardi said, which clearly triggered Offset:  

“Thank you for my kids, all three of them. I don’t regret any of them, but I regret you. I don’t regret my kids. You’re a good dad. But I regret you. I’m too good for you. I’ve always been too good for you. You know that. Why can’t you move on? Why can’t you move on?”  

She added, “It’s no fun when Mama has the gun, right? It’s no fun when I’m in control, right?” (Here, Cardi was speaking metaphorically, referring to her being in charge of the situation.)

At that moment, a comment from Offset popped up, and he wrote, “You slept with someone while you were pregnant. Tell the truth.” He was accusing her of cheating, although it seems they were broken up at the time. Even though they weren’t divorced, they were separated. Offset, however, didn’t see it that way.

It appears Offset was feeling hurt. After years of his own indiscretions, Cardi had finally had enough and filed for divorce. The two traded heated words back and forth during the night. Cardi even told Offset that if he wanted to air her dirty laundry, she could do it herself. She didn’t need him to tell people about her personal life.

By the end of the exchange, it seemed like Cardi was simply trying to move on, while Offset felt betrayed, believing she cheated on him while pregnant with their third child. Offset ended the conversation with, “I win. You have three of my kids. What are you going to do? No one’s going to want to date you now.”

Chloe, a viewer from South Florida, weighed in, saying, “There’s no way Offset thought he had the upper hand for this long. That’s not how it works.”
