Cardi B, who recently welcomed her third child with her estranged husband Offset, is back at the gym just ten days after giving birth. Despite filing for divorce in July 2024, the former couple came together to welcome their baby in a hospital surrounded by family and friends. Cardi B announced the birth of her new baby on September 7, 2024, and has quickly resumed her workout routine.

Cardi B shared a glimpse of her fitness journey on Instagram, posting a story of herself completing a 30-minute session on the Stairmaster. Dressed in a black tank top and matching leggings, she worked out while her daughter Kulture napped on the gym equipment.

Her early return to exercise has raised questions about the appropriate timeline for postpartum fitness and when new mothers should start working out. Experts offer insights into safe postpartum exercise practices.

According to the American Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, quoted by Parents.com, “You can usually begin light walking within a few days of giving birth if you had a normal vaginal delivery. Generally, the organization recommends 150 minutes of moderate-intensity activity per week, which translates to about 20 to 30 minutes of walking per day. However, it’s important to gradually work up to this level of activity.”
