Cardi B shows off adorable birthday gifts from her kids Kulture and Wave. In a video posted on social media on October 11, the rapper – now a mother of three – expresses her happiness after receiving gifts from her children, Kulture and Wave, whom she shares with her estranged husband Offset, on the occasion of her 32nd birthday. She says, “My daughter got me these balloons and these flowers. Wave gave me this, and Kulture gave me that. Look, it says, ‘Mom, I love you more than cupcakes.'”
Cardi also pans over to a bouquet of flowers sent by singer Lizzo and jokes, “Lizzo needs to be my man. Lizzo is always getting me flowers!”
Many rapper friends and fans, including Paris Hilton, also wished her a happy birthday. Paris posted an adorable photo of the two on her Instagram Stories, writing, “Keep killing it, Sis!”
Cardi’s birthday celebration comes less than a month after she welcomed her third child with Offset on September 7. She shared the news on Instagram, along with a family photo at the hospital, and wrote in the caption: “The prettiest little thing.” The rapper announced her pregnancy just hours after filing for divorce from Offset on August 1. In an Instagram post, she wrote: “With every ending comes a new beginning. I am so grateful to have shared this season with you. You have brought me more love, more life, and most of all, renewed my strength.”
She continued: “You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion. I love you so much and I can’t wait for you to witness what you’ve helped me achieve. Life’s twists, turns, and tests are so much easier when lying down, but you, your brother, and your sister have shown me why it’s worth pushing through.”
According to her recent divorce filing, Cardi has requested primary custody of their three children, along with child support from Offset. The petition states that Cardi and Offset have “experienced irreconcilable differences that have led to the breakdown of the marriage” and that “there is no reasonable prospect of reconciliation.”
