Another day, another social media storm between Cardi B and Offset. But what can we say — this is the same couple that has publicly split multiple times since they got married in 2017, and the drama appears to be never-ending. Now, after a series of messy Instagram Lives on Sept. 25, Cardi B shared screenshots of text messages between herself and Offset.
The Instagram Lives included Cardi B accusing Offset of being unfaithful to her and of being an all-around poor excuse for a partner. Offset then popped up in the comments to accuse Cardi B of being unfaithful while she was pregnant with their third child, who was born in early September 2024. In August 2024, Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset, though they continue to co-parent the three children they share.

Following Cardi B’s Instagram rant in the form of multiple Instagram Live sessions into the wee hours of the night, she shared screenshots of text messages in her Stories. In the screenshots, you can see Offset clearly shows his interest in getting back together with Cardi B, though she shoots him down and tells him to “please have a good night.”
Not one to be totally deterred from his baby mama spurning his advances through text messages, Offset responded sometime later with a request. In the final text message from the screenshot, Offset asked Cardi B if he could do something that is very NSFW while speaking to her on the phone. Unfortunately for those who are keeping up with this digital back and forth, there isn’t a reply from Cardi B included.
Cardi B wrote on top of the text message screenshot, “Everybody can see I don’t want you.” While this marked the end of their late-night social media war, something tells us that this is far from over for these two.

On Thursday, Cardi shared an Instagram post to confirm she had given birth to her third baby. The Grammy winner’s post included photos of her beaming as she held the newborn in her hospital bed, breastfeeding the child, lovingly watching Kulture hold her baby sister, and other snaps of her in labor and of Offset and her sister Hennessy Carolina, holding the baby.
However, she didn’t disclose the baby’s name or caption in the post; she only disclosed her birthday.
“The prettiest lil thing,” Cardi wrote, adding, “9/7/24.”

The 31-year-old Whip Shots CEO’s decision not to disclose her baby’s name to fans came after a fan mistakenly shared the wrong name online. On Sept. 3, after Cardi posted her baby’s sonogram on Instagram, a fan reposted the image on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption, “Cardi shares ultrasound pic of baby ‘Hurricane.’” Cardi caught wind of the post and quickly dispelled any truth to the rumor.

While Cardi isn’t ready to tell the world her daughter’s name, those who have followed the Grammy winner know she enjoys keeping her private life as secretive as possible. She and Offset waited seven months after Wave’s birth to share his name and face with the world. Plus, Cardi didn’t confirm her pregnancy with her third baby until August 2024, several weeks before she gave birth. The announcement came the same day she filed for divorce from Offset after seven years of marriage.
