Star News Korea reported that police found a two-page A4 suicide note from actor Song Jae Rim. The contents of the note have not been revealed. The Seongdong Police Station in Seoul told Newsis that they have not found any signs of murder.

The person who discovered Song Jae Rim was a friend who had previously made a lunch appointment with him. When he did not show up for the appointment, the friend went to his house and found the actor dead, so he immediately called the police.

They focus on serious cases that meet the criteria for criminal prosecution, including: threats, insults, defamation (including plagiarism), death threats, invasion of privacy, sexual harassment, distribution of pornography, and creation and distribution of deepfake content. To date, more than 180 individuals have been identified as potential targets for lawsuits.

“We will continue to take additional legal action,” the company representative stressed, indicating that the process is still ongoing.
As a result, 6 cases have been fined, 3 cases have been exempted from prosecution on condition of completing compulsory education courses and 1 case has been exempted from prosecution on condition of being supervised.
EDAM Entertainment stressed, “We only select the most serious violations and are pursuing criminal charges, with no tolerance,” and warned that repeated violations could result in increased penalties.
