Social media had plenty to say after Donovan Mitchell was unveiled as a new model for SKIMS, with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander catching several strays.
The Cleveland Cavaliers shooting guard has partnered with Kim Kardashian’s brand and become one of the faces of the men’s line.
The campaign featuring Mitchell has kicked off ahead of the launch of the 2024-25 NBA season in an attempt to leverage the attention that has been picking up around the game.
Mitchell, a five-time All-Star, represents a significant coup for the brand, which has made major forays into the sports world, having signed multiple NBA and WNBA stars. SKIMS is the official underwear brand of the aforementioned leagues, as well as USA Basketball.
The company posted a photo of the guard in their briefs on Thursday, attracting plenty of reactions, with many users comparing Mitchell’s shoot to that of SGA.
