Taylor Swift chose not to travel to Los Angeles to see Travis Kelce in action for the Kansas City Chiefs for the second consecutive week to allow him to focus on the game after a poor run of form.
Swift had been present at Kansas City’s first two games, both wins over the Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals, before she decided against traveling to Atlanta for the Falcons game and then skipped the Chargers game on Sunday. Swift had been in New York last weekend with Gigi Hadid, but initally there had been no explanation for her no-show at the game this past weekend.
However, Elle reports that Swift decided to give her man some breathing space and allow the attention to be on his game only. This came just a day after the date cited as the day the pair would supposedly break up, after a document had emerged online stating that their entire romance was a publicity stunt.
The document appeared to have been created by Kelce’s Los Angeles-based firm, Full Scope, which revealed a strategy in which the couple would announce they had split on September 28 – almost a year to the day after they first announced their relationship.
Alas, no announcement was made and the two have been confirmed to still be in their relationship, seemingly going from strength to strength over the past few weeks despite the pop superstar choosing against traveling to Los Angeles for the game.
Since the document was released online, Full Scope has also sought legal action after stating that it was “entirely false and fabricated.

With Swift away from the game, Kelce had his biggest game of the season in a much-needed performance – registering seven catches for 90 yards as he more than doubled his tally for the season after a subpar first three games
Kelce getting back to his best will be vital for the Chiefs moving forward after go-to wide receiver Rashee Rice was forced to leave the field early after Patrick Mahomes’ tackle caused him to go down in significant pain. There are fears of an ACL injury which would sideline him for the rest of the season. He is set to undergo tests on Monday to confirm the diagnosis.
