Taylor Swift fans are convinced the pop star might be about to drop a “lost” album after spotting a huge clue.
For years, they’ve speculated she has an unreleased album up her sleeve, which she planned to release after her 2014 hit album 1989. They believe this hidden gem is titled Karma and suspect Taylor is planning to release it “from the vault”.
The rumors started all the way back in 2016 when Taylor was riding high on the success of 1989 and fans were eagerly anticipating her next album. The album was expected to drop in 2016, following her usual pattern of releasing a new record every two years.
Taylor gave off a lot of signs the album would be coming, debuting a new platinum look, changing her style, and giving interviews. Everything seemed to align with her typical album release cycle.

From her debut in 2006, Taylor has consistently released a new album every two years: Fearless in 2008, Speak Now in 2010, Red in 2012, and 1989 in 2014. Fans even noticed Easter eggs hinting at Karma in her 2016 Vogue interview.
But, surprisingly, no album came out that year. Instead, 2016 saw Taylor embroiled in controversy when Kanye West dropped his song Famous, sparking a feud with the singer.
The drama resulted in Taylor retreating from the public eye. When she re-emerged in 2017, it was with a new album, Reputation. This record was inspired by her experiences with Kanye.
Fans are still waiting for a album titled Karma. There have been several hints that suggest it might be on its way. Firstly, Taylor’s work is riddled with references to Karma and the color orange, which is linked to the elusive album.

In her song Look What You Made Me Do, she sings: “The world moves on, another day another drama, drama / But not for me, not for me, all I think about is karma.” The word “karma” also appears in the music video for Taylor’s hit The Man from her Lover album.
In the video, she walks past a wall spray-painted with the names of her previous albums. A sign reads: “MISSING: IF FOUND RETURN TO TAYLOR SWIFT,” seemingly hinting at her re-recording project, and among the listed albums is Karma.
The single Midnights also features the song Karma. More recently, Taylor has been seen wearing multiple orange outfits during her Eras Tour, and when she released the music video for I Can Do It With a Broken Heart, eagle-eyed fans noticed previously unseen orange props in the rehearsal footage.
