Back in 2021, Bieber and Benny Blanco released a song titled Lonely and fans are now trying to read between the lines. The Internet seems to be dissecting the lyrics and is almost certain that the song was a way for the singer to tell his side of the story without naming names.
While this is just a conspiracy theory, we can’t help but notice how eerily fitting the lyrics are to Diddy’s controversy that has surfaced.
Everybody knows my name now but something ’bout it still feels strange. Like looking’ in a mirror, tryna steady yourself. And seeing’ somebody else and everything is not the same now. It feels like all our lives have changed. Maybe when I’m older, it’ll all calm down but it’s killing’ me now.
In the second verse, Bieber sings about how everyone knows about his past and how it is probably the “price you pay” to have money and fame at an early age.
Everybody knows my past now. Like my house was always made of glass And maybe that’s the price you pay, for the money and fame at an early age. And everybody saw me sick and it felt like no one gave a sh-t. They criticized the things I did as an idiot kid.
He then goes right into the heartbreaking chorus:
What if you had it all. And it felt like nobody to call? Maybe then you’d know me. ‘Cause I’ve had everything. But no one’s listening. And that’s just lonely. I’m so lonely.
