The largest US Catholic advocacy group is launching an ad campaign blasting Vice President Kamala Harris for supporting taxpayer-funded sex-change surgeries for minors.
The scorching six-figure ads will begin airing Monday in four critical swing states — Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Nevada and Michigan — and are intended to target Catholic voters and households with children.
The ads, shared exclusively with The Post, cite Medicaid data that show the number of sex-change surgeries pe
Just in: Medicaid data shows [97 in PA; 86 in WI; 18 in NV; 35 in MI] underage girls had their breasts completely removed,” the ads begin, with one of the bracketed figures cited depending on which state the advertisement airs in.
“[14 in PA; 12 in WI; 3 in NV; 7 in MI] underage girls underwent hysterectomies. Sex change operations attempting to make young boys into girls. Penis amputations.
“Sound weird? Disgusting?” the narrator in the ads says. “It is. And you’re paying for it.
“Kamala Harris supports these taxpayer-funded sex-change operations. A vote for Harris: a vote for medical experiments on kids.”
The Harris-Biden administration recently reaffirmed its stance on children being allowed to undergo transgender surgery — on the taxpayers’ dime — as long as the kids’ parents and doctors approve of it. The administration has said it believes the surgery should typically be reserved for adults but that it won’t stop children from undergoing the life-altering procedures if the above condition is met.
“We continue to fight state and national bans on gender-affirming care, which represents a continuum of care, and respect the role of parents, families and doctors – not politicians – in these decisions,” said Neera Tanden, director of the White House Domestic Policy Council, in an email obtained by The Advocate.
“Gender-affirming surgeries are typically reserved for adults, and we believe they should be,” Tanden said.
Harris has not laid out any differing campaign policy on transgender surgeries since becoming the Democratic presidential nominee.

“It follows that any sex-change intervention, as a rule, risks threatening the unique dignity the person has received from the moment of conception,” the “Infinite Dignity” document read.
