Travis Kelce reveals a big step forward in his career amid his relationship with Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce Makes Big Career Move Official Amid Taylor Swift Relationship

Travis Kelce has been making all sorts of headlines of late. The Kansas City Chiefs star finally had a much-anticipated bounce-back performance in the defending champs’ 17-10 Week 4 victory against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.

After a sluggish start to the season that saw him catch just eight passes for 69 yards and zero touchdowns in their first three games, Kelce had seven receptions for 89 yards against the Chargers. The four-time All-Pro tight end still hasn’t scored a touchdown this season, but his Week 4 outing was definitely a step in the right direction.

There has also been a growing buzz surrounding Kelce’s relationship with superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift, especially after the multi-Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter was a no-show for her second straight game on Sunday against LA.

While there have been rumors circulating about a breakup between the high-profile couple, reports indicate that the two are still very much together at this point.

For his part, Kelce is also making some big moves outside the football field. On Wednesday, his FX horror series “Grotesquerie” premiered as the 34-year-old starred in his first major TV acting gig.

On Tuesday, Kelce took another major step in his career as an actor/host after the official trailer of his new show “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?” dropped.

The Prime Video show will premiere on Oct. 16 with three initial episodes, which will be succeeded by a new episode each week. In the “Are You Smarter Than 5th Grader?” spin-off, contestants play for a prize money of $100,000 as Kelce plays the role of the gamemaster.

Kelce is no spring chicken, and he’s now playing in his 12th year in the NFL. The Chiefs star has a few more good years left under him before he starts considering calling time on his decorated career. If and when that happens, it appears that Kelce already has his post-NFL career plan laid out.
