Dr. David Chao, a ProFootballDoc, has provided updates on the status of Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua ahead of Thursday Night Football.
The Los Angeles Rams will be getting a key reinforcement on Thursday night against the Minnesota Vikings, with Cooper Kupp set to return from injury.
There have been talks that he will not be alone with fellow wide receiver Puka Nacua, who is also on track to suit up, according to NFL Media, just days after his return to practice.
Not everything thinks that will actually happen.
Dr. David Chao is one of them as he asked, “When will Puca come back? Probably around the time Cupp gets traded.”

Three years ago, Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp made history while delivering the Rams’ first Super Bowl win as a Los Angeles-based team.
Now, Kupp is embroiled in trade rumors as the Rams have reportedly called teams to gauge interest in a possible trade.
As for Puka Nacua, he has been out since injuring his knee in Week 1, but he returned to practice this week and is listed as questionable for Thursday’s game.
Nacua caught four passes for 35 yards in the season opener before going down with a knee injury, which has caused him to miss the last five games.
Having A Healthy Puka Nacua Means Everything For The Rams
The Los Angeles Rams are 2-4 heading into their “Thursday Night Football” matchup with the Minnesota Vikings in Week 8. It has been a frustrating start to the season for the Rams.
Not having star wide receiver Puka Nacua has not helped things for a team that went to the postseason in 2023.
Last season, Nacua set rookie records for receptions (105) and receiving yards (1,486).
Despite their bad record, nobody appears to be running away with the NFC West, so getting Puka Nacua means everything to them and the rest of the 2024 season.
