It sounds like pretty decent money
A woman who appeared in an online advert shared with people how much she got paid and discussed what she got her money for.
If you want to start performing, you might want to see what sort of work is there in the world of advertising.
Howard from the Halifax ads used to be incredibly famous, while the guy from the GoCompare adverts is now on Strictly Come Dancing.

Vice versa, if you make it big in acting then plenty of adverts are going to want you, which is why The Crown star Dominic West is pretending to be a bank owner who complains about Nationwide.
Everyone has to start somewhere, and when actor Mariela Perez Calderon did her first advert, she broke down how much she got paid for it all.
"I got paid as a daily rate $800 a day," the actor told people in a YouTube video

"Which for me at that time, not having an agent, not knowing what the heck I was doing, I thought that was pretty freaking insane.
"I also think at the end of the day I actually ended up getting underpaid."
She explained that she'd spent 'technically four days' in Salt Lake City, Utah, as filming was happening early and she also had to be paid for the days where she was travelling in and out.
For the Wednesday and Saturday when she was travelling in and out, she was paid $400 each, while her transportation and accommodation were also paid for her.

As for why she felt she got underpaid, she later got a call asking what her rate was for them to extend what they could use this online advert for.
She didn't have an agent at this time, unlike the others who'd appeared in the advert with her, and when she told them how much they'd need to pay they practically bit her hand off.

In the end, she did get 'paid almost $5,000 for only like two days of work' which sounds pretty good.
While it's clear that the big name stars in acting have got pretty lucrative jobs, except perhaps for the cast of Baywatch, lots of other roles can also bring in money.
Stranger Things actor Tristan Spohn once broke down how much he earned for being on the show, and how much it compared to an appearance on crime drama FBI.

He made quite a bit of money from residuals, while poor Tony Todd of Candyman fame had a clause in his contract where he'd be paid $1,000 each time he was stung during a scene when he was stuck in a room with 200,000 bees, earning him $27,000 more in total.
Meanwhile, if you land a part in a major movie then you'll still be getting money for it years later.
